Second Saturday in August every year — Annual Lobster Dinner and library used book sale

Running for over 50 years, the lobster dinner is the island’s biggest event. The dinner, which raises funds for the church and community improvement projects, is held at the church and community members volunteer their time to make it happen. The Lobster Dinner is accompanied by a raffle, silent auction, live music, the “all the road we’ve got” race, and the library’s annual used book sale.

The Lobster Dinner is cancelled for 2020 because of COVID-19. We hope to see you next year!
